Hawkwood - a photographic exhibition

Wrattens Cafe, Chislehurst High Street

Opening on Saturday 17 September, and open throughout the Festival, 10am to 5pm (not Sundays)

Fraser
Springtime

Caroline Fraser is a local GP who took up photography seriously 6 years ago after a period of serious illness. Her photography explores the tension between nature’s order and chaos, and is a means to express the fragility and transience of life.

Caroline will be showing two new series of work at the Chislehurst Festival:

Hawkwood
Images and a poem about the National Trust property in Chislehurst where she finds peace and tranquillity in suburbia,
and
Springtime in Suburbia
a photographic exploration of the tension between man’s desire for order and nature’s tendency towards chaos as shown in the laurels and Leylandii that she sees on her morning walks around the block with her dog in Bickley.

Both of these series will be available as limited edition prints, and also in book form from the publishing house Hawkwood Press, available from Blurb books.
